A Navratan Patola in Purple and White
Step into the world of Patola, where every thread is dyed before it is woven, and the pattern lives inside the yarn itself long before it ever touches the loom.
This exquisite Patola saree is woven in the celebrated Navratan design, a purple border with white colour combination, crafted in pure 8-ply mulberry silk. Rendered through the Single Ikat handloom technique, the ivory field is patterned with a dense lattice of nine-gem diamonds in coral, sage and gold, framed by a deep aubergine-purple border alive with a lattice of hearts and diamonds in crimson, teal and amber.
Rows of interlocking diamonds unfold across the ivory body in the signature Navratan rhythm, each facet catching a different hue of coral, sage and gold. The purple border is patterned with a lattice of hearts and diamonds, while the pallu deepens into the same aubergine-purple ground, layered with bands of magenta florals, a luminous bronze-gold zari stripe, and fine gold pinstripes, finished with a fringe of rich purple silk tassels. Each motif takes shape through the painstaking resist-dyeing of the weft yarns before weaving, a Single Ikat technique that demands exceptional patience, precision and skill from the artisan.

Guard this treasure from the reach of perfumes, dampness, and the harsh glare of direct sun. Professional dry cleaning is advised to maintain the ethereal luster of the zari and the integrity of the silk. In every thread of Patola, a legacy of craft is preserved.
A Note on Handmade Beauty
No two handcrafted sarees are ever exactly alike. Subtle variations in colour, texture, and finish are part of their charm, the quiet signature of the hands that created them. Colors and textures may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and other viewing conditions.
Every motif tells a story. Every thread carries the artisan's touch. And when you drape it, that story becomes yours.
