Wedding Kanjivaram Handloom Silk Saree - Straight from Kanchipuram - Shade of Red & Gold

Step into the timeless world of Kanchipuram silk, where traditional weaving artistry meets luminous zari in richly regal splendour. This exquisite Designer Kanjivaram Handloom Silk Saree features a vivid red silk body, delicately scattered with fine diamond-shaped zari buttis, creating a subtle shimmer across the silk.

The red body is anchored by a striking peacock-and-floral motif rising along the border edge, richly woven in warm gold. The borders themselves are richly textured with dense circular peacock medallions and diamond-lattice brocade that bring a warm, radiant glow along each edge. The striking contrast between the vivid red silk and the luminous antique-gold zari creates a sophisticated, festive palette that feels both traditional and celebratory.

The pallu carries forward the same lavish grandeur, with an expansive field of fine diagonal diamond lattice in warm gold, framed by ornamental peacock-medallion borders. The measured, repeating geometry gives the pallu a striking visual rhythm, while the hand-finished coral tassels add a graceful, traditional finish to the saree's edge.

At the heart of this saree is its lavish all-over zari weave, the delicate buti-scattered body flowing seamlessly into the radiant gold pallu, allowing texture and craftsmanship to take centre stage in a truly opulent composition.

SILK MARK CERTIFIED

Color - A vivid shade of red silk body with fine diamond zari buttis, paired with rich antique-gold woven borders featuring peacock medallions. Adorned with a matching gold zari pallu in shade of red and gold.

Technique - Kanjivaram sarees are crafted by hand using pure mulberry silk and fine metal threads through a meticulous, multi-step traditional process.

Fabric - Luxurious Kanjivaram silk, with a graceful sheen and a beautiful drape that complements the richness of the zari work. Pure Kanjivaram silk sarees use a heavy, high-quality mulberry silk base.

Craft - Kanjivaram saree from Kanchipuram.

Blouse - An unstitched blouse piece in the same fabric as the saree is included.

The Artful Finish - Ready to wear, with fall and pico neatly done. The pallu is completed with handmade silk tassels, adding a graceful final flourish.

Care - Store folded in a soft cotton or muslin cloth and recommended to refold every 3 months. Keep away from perfume, direct sunlight and moisture. Professional dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the richness of silk. When silk becomes heirloom, it becomes Kanjivaram.

A Note on Handmade Beauty

No two handcrafted sarees are ever exactly alike. Subtle variations in colour, texture, embroidery, and finish are part of their charm, the quiet signature of the hands that created them. Colors and textures may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and other viewing conditions.

Every motif tells a story. Every stitch carries the artisan’s touch. And when you drape it, that story becomes yours.
