An Opulent Golden Grace: Handloom Tissue Korvai Kanjivaram Silk Saree from Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu

Step into an aura of timeless bridal splendor with this magnificent wedding tissue Korvai Kanjivaram handloom silk saree, meticulously handcrafted in the historic weaving town of Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. Celebrating authentic heritage, regional mastery, and uncompromised craftsmanship, this saree pairs a shimmering gold tissue silk body with a striking, contrast red Korvai border woven with intricate zari motifs. Complete with a rich gold zari pallu and refined detailing, this regal masterpiece embodies divine grace, making it an exquisite choice for weddings, bridal trousseau, sacred rituals, and grand festivities.

SILK MARK CERTIFIED

Color -  Radiant gold tissue body elegantly juxtaposed against a contrasting deep red Korvai border and opulent gold zari pallu.

Technique - Traditional Korvai weaving, a hallmark of Kanjivaram sarees. It is a distinctive technique that gives Kanjivaram silk sarees their iconic contrasting borders and pallus. Woven on a traditional three-shuttle loom, the saree body and borders are created separately in different silk colours, then meticulously interlocked thread by thread by two skilled weavers working in perfect coordination. This intricate joining process creates a seamless, enduring union between contrasting colours, transforming every Korvai Kanjivaram into a testament to precision, patience, and generations of weaving artistry.

Fabric - Luxurious Tissue Korvai  Kanjivaram silk, with a graceful sheen and a beautiful drape that complements the richness of the zari work.

Craft - Handloom Pure Kanjivaram Tissue Silk Korvai - Straight from Kanchipuram.

Blouse - An unstitched blouse piece in the same fabric as the saree is included.

The Artful Finish - Ready to wear, with fall and pico neatly done. The pallu is completed with handmade silk tassels, adding a graceful final flourish.

Care - Store folded in a soft cotton or muslin cloth and recommended to refold every 3 months. Keep away from perfume, direct sunlight and moisture. Professional dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the richness of silk. When silk becomes heirloom, it becomes Kanjivaram.

A Note on Handmade Beauty

No two handcrafted sarees are ever exactly alike. Subtle variations in colour, texture, embroidery, and finish are part of their charm, the quiet signature of the hands that created them. Colors and textures may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and other viewing conditions.

Every motif tells a story. Every stitch carries the artisan’s touch. And when you drape it, that story becomes yours.
