Handloom Pure Kanjivaram Tissue Silk Korvai - Straight from Kanchipuram, A Regal Celebration in Gold & Vermilion – Handloom Pure Kanjivaram Tissue Silk Korvai

Step into the world of Kanchipuram silk, where centuries-old weaving traditions meet the luminous grandeur of zari. This exquisite Handloom Pure Kanjivaram Tissue Silk Korvai, woven straight from Kanchipuram, is a study in regal opulence, pairing a radiant golden tissue body with rich vermilion-orange and red accents.

The shimmering tissue body is adorned with delicate gold zari buttas, creating a luminous metallic canvas. The Korvai borders and pallu feature elaborate traditional zari brocade with paisley, floral, and geometric motifs, layered with intricate patterns that highlight the artistry of Kanjivaram weaving. The vermilion-orange borders, edged with red, bring warmth and contrast to the golden expanse, while the richly woven pallu adds depth and grandeur, finished with elegant gold and red tassels.

The interplay of luminous tissue gold, vermilion, and intricate zari craftsmanship gives this saree a majestic ceremonial character—perfect for weddings, bridal occasions, and grand celebrations.

SILK MARK CERTIFIED

Color -  Luminous tissue gold, vermilion, and intricate zari craftsmanship.

Technique - Traditional Korvai weaving, a hallmark of Kanjivaram sarees. It is a distinctive technique that gives Kanjivaram silk sarees their iconic contrasting borders and pallus. Woven on a traditional three-shuttle loom, the saree body and borders are created separately in different silk colours, then meticulously interlocked thread by thread by two skilled weavers working in perfect coordination. This intricate joining process creates a seamless, enduring union between contrasting colours, transforming every Korvai Kanjivaram into a testament to precision, patience, and generations of weaving artistry.

Fabric - Luxurious Kanjivaram silk, with a graceful sheen and a beautiful drape that complements the richness of the zari work.

Craft - Handloom Pure Kanjivaram Tissue Silk Korvai - Straight from Kanchipuram.

Blouse - An unstitched blouse piece in the same fabric as the saree is included.

The Artful Finish - Ready to wear, with fall and pico neatly done. The pallu is completed with handmade silk tassels, adding a graceful final flourish.

Care - Store folded in a soft cotton or muslin cloth and recommended to refold every 3 months. Keep away from perfume, direct sunlight and moisture. Professional dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the richness of silk. When silk becomes heirloom, it becomes Kanjivaram.

A Note on Handmade Beauty

No two handcrafted sarees are ever exactly alike. Subtle variations in color, texture, embroidery, and finish are part of their charm, the quiet signature of the hands that created them. Colors and textures may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and other viewing conditions.

Every motif tells a story. Every stitch carries the artisan’s touch. And when you drape it, that story becomes yours.
