Handloom Pure Kanjivaram Tissue Silk Korvai - A Timeless Elegance from Kanchipuram, A Radiant Yellow and Rich Purple

Step into the world of Kanchipuram silk, where centuries-old weaving traditions meet the grandeur of zari and the artistry of the master weaver.  This exquisite Tissue Wedding Korvai Kanjivaram saree is a luminous handwoven treasure, crafted in a rich golden-yellow tissue silk that catches the light with an ethereal glow. The body is adorned with delicate gold zari buttas, creating a refined shimmer against the radiant tissue ground. Deep purple borders frame the saree beautifully, adding a regal contrast to its golden richness.

The grandeur unfolds along the broad zari border, where intricate peacock motifs alternate with circular medallions, surrounded by finely woven floral and geometric details. The pallu continues this opulent language of zari, with layers of intricate traditional patterns that give the saree a magnificent wedding presence.

SILK MARK CERTIFIED

Color - A radiant golden-yellow tissue body paired with a rich, regal purple border and pallu

Technique - Traditional Korvai weaving, a hallmark of Kanjivaram sarees. It is a distinctive technique that gives Kanjivaram silk sarees their iconic contrasting borders and pallus. Woven on a traditional three-shuttle loom, the saree body and borders are created separately in different silk colours, then meticulously interlocked thread by thread by two skilled weavers working in perfect coordination. This intricate joining process creates a seamless, enduring union between contrasting colours, transforming every Korvai Kanjivaram into a testament to precision, patience, and generations of weaving artistry.

Fabric - Luxurious tissue silk, distinguished by its luminous surface and rich zari presence, giving the saree an especially radiant and festive character.

Craft - A magnificent Wedding Korvai Kanjivaram masterpiece, featuring a glowing tissue silk body, delicate gold zari buttas, richly woven purple borders, and an elaborate lower border of alternating peacock and circular medallion motifs. The sumptuous zari pallu completes its regal wedding aesthetics.

Blouse - An unstitched blouse piece in the same fabric as the saree is included.

The Artful Finish - Ready to wear, with fall and pico neatly done. The pallu is completed with handmade silk tassels, adding a graceful final flourish.

Care - Store folded in a soft cotton or muslin cloth and recommended to refold every 3 months. Keep away from perfume, direct sunlight and moisture. Professional dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the richness of silk. When silk becomes heirloom, it becomes Kanjivaram.

A Note on Handmade Beauty

No two handcrafted sarees are ever exactly alike. Subtle variations in colour, texture, embroidery, and finish are part of their charm, the quiet signature of the hands that created them. Colors and textures may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and other viewing conditions.

Every motif tells a story. Every stitch carries the artisan’s touch. And when you drape it, that story becomes yours.
