A Radiant Tissue Weave from Gadwal, Telangana - With Gadwal Silk, heritage is handwoven, thread by thread.

Step into the timeless weaving tradition of Gadwal, Telangana, where cotton once met silk on the loom, and today pure silk itself carries forward a legacy of interlocking borders, gleaming zari, and understated elegance.

This exquisite Gadwal saree is a handloom treasure from Gadwal, near Hyderabad, Telangana, woven entirely in pure silk tissue. Its lustrous orange-gold body glows with a rich tissue sheen, scattered delicately with small silver buta throughout. A slender red border, woven with silver zari peacocks and florals, frames the saree in classic Gadwal style.

The pallu unfolds into a broad tissue gold field, patterned with a fine diamond lattice and banded with delicate silver zari borders, opening into the same red silver-zari peacock border along the hem. Finished with a deep red fringe, the pallu brings together the shimmer of tissue silk with the timeless elegance of Gadwal's handloom weaving.

SILK MARK CERTIFIED

Color - Lustrous orange-gold tissue paired with a slender red border, brought alive with silver zari buta and peacock motifs.

Technique - Traditional Gadwal handloom weaving; the body and pallu are woven entirely in radiant tissue silk scattered with silver buta, framed by a red border of silver zari peacocks and florals, a hallmark of the Gadwal weaving tradition from Telangana.

Fabric - Pure silk tissue, chosen for its radiant sheen and light, fluid drape, letting the silver buta and zari border work stand out with striking clarity.

Craft - A Gadwal handloom masterpiece, woven on the pit loom with a radiant tissue buta body and a resplendent tissue gold pallu, bordered in red and silver zari - a saree that carries forward centuries of weaving heritage from Telangana.

Blouse - A matching blouse piece in the same red silk is attached to the saree.

The Artful Finish - Ready to wear, with fall and pico neatly done.

Care: Store folded in a soft cotton or muslin cloth and recommended to refold every 3 months to prevent creasing at the folds. Keep away from perfume, direct sunlight and moisture. Dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the zari and the silk. With Gadwal silk, heritage is handwoven, thread by thread.

A Note on Handloom Beauty

No two handloom sarees are ever exactly alike. Subtle variations in the zari tone, weave, and finish are part of their charm, the quiet signature of the loom and the weaver's hand behind each piece. Colors and textures may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and other viewing conditions.

Every check is woven with intent. Every motif carries the weaver's rhythm. And when you drape it, that heritage becomes yours.
