A Ganga-Jamuna Weave from Gadwal, Telangana - With Gadwal Silk, heritage is handwoven, thread by thread.
Step into the timeless weaving tradition of Gadwal, Telangana, where cotton once met silk on the loom, and today pure silk itself carries forward a legacy of interlocking borders, gleaming zari, and understated elegance.
This exquisite Gadwal saree is a handloom treasure from Gadwal, near Hyderabad, Telangana, woven entirely in pure silk. Its lustrous gold-beige body is patterned in a fine allover brocade of florals, tissue-like in its sheen. True to the Kanchipuram ganga-jamuna style, the saree carries two contrasting borders along its length, a rich red along one edge and a deep peacock teal along the other, both densely worked in gold zari.
The teal border unfolds in bold gold zari paisleys framed by floral vines and delicate meenakari dots in pink and blue, while the slender red border is finished with a matching gold zari floral vine. The pallu is woven entirely in peacock teal, layering rows of paisleys, floral bands, and meenakari accents in pink and blue over a rich brocade ground, anchoring the saree in classic Gadwal-Kanchi grandeur.

A Note on Handloom Beauty
No two handloom sarees are ever exactly alike. Subtle variations in the zari tone, weave, and finish are part of their charm, the quiet signature of the loom and the weaver's hand behind each piece. Colors and textures may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and other viewing conditions.
Every check is woven with intent. Every motif carries the weaver's rhythm. And when you drape it, that heritage becomes yours.
